    Reported by:

The late afternoon sun is reflected from the thinly frozen surface of Grass Lake, an urban wetland and park in the City of Olympia, Washington. Several days of cold weather frosted overhanging branches and resulted in a thin ice coating on the water. The low angle sun gives the scene a warm tone while the actual air temperature was well below freezing.
