Big swells, along with some welcome rain, arrived in Pacific Grove this morning on the edge of Monterey Bay. The pelicans were hovering over the waves like pros, showing off their poise even in severe wind and saltwater spray. I was lucky enough to have time to put my camera away for a while and let my senses breath it all in.
