Trans-Atlantic Traveler
Serendipity is always welcome on a road trip. As we arrived at the town of Gaspé (located on the Gaspé Peninsula, province of Québec) on October 7, my wife drew my attention to a cruise ship to our right. This is the Cunard Line RMS Queen Mary 2, which left Southampton, England on September 20. Among the ports of call in North America were New York, Boston, Québec City, Halifax and yes, Gaspé. The passengers must have been pleasantly surprised by the summer-like weather that day.
