I was lucky enough to photograph one the Snowy Mountains Wild Brumbies on my way through Kosciuszko National Park yesterday. There are currently estimated to be around 6000 horses in the Highlands, with the NSW Gov releasing a heavily opposed draft in April this year to cull them back to 600, due to reports that the horses are damaging the habitats of other endangered wildlife in the area.
