Already having visited Meteora, Julia and I decided to go for another look. The whole day had been covered in a blue blanket of clear skies, and not until arriving in Meteora, sitting on the edge of an overhanging slab of rock, did we fully appreciate what was before us. Old greek monasteries peered over the strange collection of rocks, keeping an aged eye on the greenery of the valley below. Another imperfectly perfect day on the road.
