The Thorny Devil (Moloch horridus) is native to the arid areas of Australia. These lizards are uniquely adapted to desert life. Through capillary action, they can harvest water from the ground, through their feet or the air from their tail - both siphon water to their mouth. These ant-specialists also have a unique swaying walk to help camouflage them from would-be predators. If a predator does detect them, they'll lower their head to expose a false head on their neck.
