High in the clouds, Nepali mountain kids keep watch as streams of Hindu, Buddhist, and Bonbo visitors trek to Panch Pokhari, the 9th highest alpine wetland system in the world. Annually, during the month of August pilgrims stream past these children's homes in an arduous journey over rock and stone in the hopes that their wishes will come true. Panch Pokhari lies in Langtang National Park, between Sindhupalchowk and Rasuwa district, an area still heavily impacted by earthquake damage.
