This photo was taken at the Solar Pump installation near Jalgaon city, Maharashtra, India. The weather was hot and dry and it was close to 2 p.m. when I asked these kids, "Don't you find it very hot?", instantly, they jumped into the drum that was full of water and smiled at me. At the backdrop, are the solar panels that are installed to cater to power the solar pump that is used to irrigate the fields. This novel initiative by the Govt of Maharashtra will bring good fortunes to the farmers
