Edit Photo Details "Me and Mom" - Elephant and Calf   #elephant #elephantcalf #tarangire_national_park
While in Tanzania to shoot the Great Migration on the Serengeti in March of 2015 I visited several other parks. This was a double treat - the migration and all the "babies" that were born in February and early March. According to our Driver/Guide - Elephant calves can only stand directly under their mother until they are around two weeks of age - so this is a young calf.
