    A statue of 15th Vice President Hannibal Hamlin graces the Norumbega Parkway. Born in 1809 in Paris, Maine; Hannibal Hamlin served as a Maine Senator and Representative before becoming Abraham Lincoln's Vice President during the Civil War. Hamlin died in 1891 in Bangor, Maine.
