    Edit Photo Details Ruby-crowned Kinglet   #ruby_crowned_kinglet #vine_maple #regulus_calendula
This little Ruby-crowned Kinglet was part of a small flock containing both these and Golden-crowned Kinglets. RCKI are about 4.25 inches and the GCKI average just 4 inches overall length. Both species flit and move quickly from branch to branch in search of insects. I always feel lucky to catch one in a frame.
