Our closest big town held a trick or treating event on the square. So many kids live out in the country here in the Ozarks of Arkansas and this is one place they can go Halloweening. All the local businesses on the town square gave out candy during certain hours. Here, my kids had gone into the skateboard shop/art gallery store, where the shopkeeper was dressed as skater Darth. My son, who insisted on being a ghost, was more interested in Darth, while my cheetah daughter was checking her loot

This is such a sweet moment, I like how everyone is looking at something different, from your daughter to son to the shopkeeper to you behind the camera. And what a lovely tradition created by your community to provide the children a fun trick-or-treating experience that might not be otherwise possible.
