    The wood stork is the only breeding stork in the United States. We are fortunate to have them here in south Florida although they are still listed as threatened. Living close to the Everglades, I often see these large birds. This one found itself a good sized evening meal of this eel shortly before it was time to roost for the evening. Although it did take it a good 5 minutes to figure out how to get the whole eel into it's belly.
