I decided to show my daughter how to sprout and grow some legumes. One of the experiments I did as a kid, which I really enjoyed, was sprouting lentils. Every healthy food starts from planting the seeds first. My little girl knows the smell and taste of a delicious homemade lentil soup, but does not know where it comes from. She was very enthusiastic about this growing plants idea. We even tried some sprouts on a salad later.

What a wonderful lesson and fun experiment you are sharing with your daughter. The story behind your photo really makes me care about your submission; I feel the enthusiasm of your daughter. I am excited for her. I hope she continues to grow as a gardener. I believe that as she gets older, she will further appreciate the origin of her food.
