My friend and I have been discussing our favourite books - Harry Potter for her, Tracks for me. This my library - I say my library, it's the Salt Lake City library. I love the huge open space here and the strange, almost otherworldly staircase design. The elevator walls are made of glass so you can watch the floor drop away. My friend says books open up an alien world to her, a whole new existence to explore. This beautiful library perfectly captures that sentiment.
