    First hard freeze of the season, which made everything different, and fresh, and new! The thistle flower caught the morning sun, but I caught the thistle before the sun could melt the delicate crystals of frost that were caught on the delicate threads of the unblossomed flower! Maybe my eyes are just getting old, but I could not see the individual crystals or the threads without the camera...
