Goodbye maple tree, goodbye maple syrup
Goodbye 150 year old giant maple tree. No more maple syrup will you produce. No more will you shade us from the summer heat. No more will you be home to countless squirrels, birds and other animals and insects. No more will your leaves fall gracefully to carpet the grass. Maple trees are being severely affected by climate change and global warming and fir those maple trees still standing, their internal sugar making process has been reduced by nearly 40 percent.
