    As the clouds cleared above Halemaumau crater at the Jagger museum lookout the crater anf lava was in full view. The Milky Way was in view and an interesting event happened that lasted about 5 minutes. Every frame that I shot which were 25 second exposures had a ring above the crater. Each and every shot thereafter then had a bigger ring . Then clouds that looked like low lying stratus appeared. This is 1 of the frame's of those images , 5 minutes later the rings were gone I was speechless.
