    Edit Photo Details Old City Bukhara, Uzbekistan   #asia #uzbekistan #bukhara #islamic_architecture #central_asia
I had gone to a spot in old Bukhara where photographers commonly go to get a great view of the city, but found that a construction project was blocking the view. So I went looking for the perfect spot to capture the magic of this ancient city, a place where a flying carpet could glide past without being at all surprising. I finally chose this exact spot near the old fortress, looking down a street toward the Kalon minaret and the Mir-e Arab mosque.
