Street walking is the best way to get in touch with local surroundings. In this case, I was introduced to a moment all so common along the streets of Bali ; an impoverished woman and child amongst an environment teeming with Westerners and their typically self-absorbed eagerness to spend money on insubstantial items for temporary highs.
