    Edit Photo Details The Porters of Nepal   #people #nepal #porter #shotoftheday #manpower #khopra
While trekking in Nepal, I was captivated by the immense physical energy that was invested into everyday's work in Nepal. Up in the mountains, almost everything is done physically. Porters can carry up to 30kg of supplies, sometimes more, to the next village high up in the Himalayas. This particular porter was carrying a huge green metal burner among other things. In this shot, I wanted to focus on the pure mass of the basket and his facial expression to show the hardship of every porter's life.
