When exploring a new area, each turn seems to add another boast of adrenaline. The waters around the Supai area could rival any tropical beach. Being surrounded by steep cliffs and thunderous waterfalls adds to the dramatic landscape. Taking the same trail on my return hike from Beaver Falls just wasn't an option, a detour worth every step. I found myself waist deep fighting the current with the upper edge of 200' tall Mooney falls in the distance.
