After arriving at the Taipei Main Station at 6:00, before anything else begins to open for the day, I quickly decided to head to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall in time for the flag ceremony. The plaza was almost empty except for a few early birds. As I head out to the gate, I tried to compose a symmetrical image when I saw a biker about to pass by. Instead of waiting for him to pass through, I decided to wait for the perfect moment to frame him within the arc.
