Skinkyo Bridge (Sacred Bridge)
Skinkyo Bridge was rebuilt in 1636 and became what we see today. As a result, Shinkyo was opened to be crossed only by Generals and messengers from the Imperial Court. For us ordinary earthling mortals, we get to cross a much less stunning bridge, which with every car that passes over it shakes as though it will plummet into the river below.
