I was on a gem mine and research expedition a couple of years back in Sri Lanka with a friend who is considered "the" expert on Ruby and Sapphire. A Padparadscha sapphire is described as a delicate blend of the colour of a Lotus flower and a Ceylonese sunset and the term originates from Ceylon and the trip was background for an article which my friend eventually wrote and published. We took hundreds of shots of women, men, children and yes...even monkeys holding lotuses. This was my favorite.
