    This panning technique with a slow shutter speed is something that I tried out for the very first time last year, and I'd like to think that I got the hang of it pretty much right away. I've done it now on about 5 different occasions while on safari, and as long as the conditions are right I can get fairly consistent results. I know that this particular style of photography isn't for everyone, but I really like it for action shots like this one. Maasai Mara, Kenya, August 2016.
