Feral Chincoteague Pony on the Shore
Luckily one of the boat captains took us out in November to look for ponies. We saw herds and individuals. It is amazing to see feral horses, right on the East coast, on the shore, with the wind blowing their manes and tails, as they go about their business. They have big tummies because they eat sea grass, filled with water and salt which retains the fluid.
