My Scientific Flower - Dedicated to Mick
An unusual occurrence happened in my backyard while enjoying a popsicle, so it inspired me to recreate the scene. So using a drop of cherry popsicle on a white textured surface and high key lighting I watched the ants come drink the sweet juice. A steady flow of ants fed til their abdomens nearly burst, as one left another took its place. I saw a flower head in this natural abstract, so I added a grass blade to complete my scientific flower. Dedicated to my sister Michele (Mick) with love.
Melissa, I love this creativity! Some of the most fun moments to capture are ones that people often overlook. The fact that you saw it happening, it sparked your creativity and joy is what exploring is all about. Great work.
