    Walking on the ground with polar bears was an experience I never thought possible. This is how I remember polar bears...Big, strong, powerful animals that move with a purpose. I was disappointed that there was no snow on the ground for better pictures. But more than anything, I was sorry and sad for the bears and other wildlife that depend on sea ice and freezing temperatures to survive. I made a verbal promise to him to try and help prevent further environmental damage to his home.
