Modi Shenshai Atash Behram, Surat Celebrated its 194 years of establishment (consecrated 19.11.1823) On this day the Kavyani Zanda (Flag) is taken out in a grand procession around the Atash Behram, all Parsi homes pay respect to the Zanda by garlanding, breaking a coconut, showering the Zanda with rice & flower petals in a traditional way.
