    Edit Photo Details Mid-yawn   #lion #king #kzn #malelion #zululand_rhino_reserve
I was aiming to catch the yawn we had all been anticipating, all those teeth in all their glory. A close family friend let me try my hand at her 400mm EF lens. We balanced it on a cushion out of the truck. Just as he started to yawn we started driving, but I managed to keep the camera focused on his face. I had had the shutter speed low since it was still just the crack of dawn. I like the motion around the lower jaw, and the expression. Zululand Rhino Reserve, KZN, SA
