Fragrances of Wild Alaska
On the way to our Polar Bear expedition up to the Beaufort Sea, we spent an evening at a small rustic restaurant in Fairbanks that serves authentic Alaskan dishes. This is a wild caught Alaskan Salmon dish in which the salmon is garnished with lemon butter sauce and then baked in an oven after wrapped it in paper. This is served with native rice, black beans and mashed potatoes. It was a great way to start our most challenging and exciting journey up the Arctic Circle.
