As I as driving to Mt. Rainier National park, I came across this road with a beautiful peak, peaking out above the trees. It was noon, the light was less than perfect, and I decided to wait and see what would come of such a beautiful opportunity. 6 hours I waited until sunset. My patience was tested, especially because I was spending time that could have been used exploring Mt Rainier to wait for a picture that might not be very good. But good things come to those who wait.
