What are snow shoes? As we approached the trail head to hidden lake, we noticed the temperature gauge in our car rapidly dropping. By the time we got to the trail-head, the temperature had dropped to 29 degrees. With no snowshoes, we decided to take the risk and hike to hidden lake. It was rough, slipping and falling repeatedly, losing track of the trail, we were un prepared.. but very determined. After hours of pushing ourselves, my friend and I reached the top. This picture was a nice reward.
