Winter is a Christmas mitten
The entire countryside of Sweden appears as a oversized mitten during the 6 snow-covered months of the year. Apparently houses by the countryside are not allowed to flaunt any color the owner might wish. So, under the ever-cloudy sky, after some fresh snowfall, the red houses do stand out like Christmas decorations.
Extra lucky with the frost!
On our way to Stockholm; the capital of Sweden, in the heart of Scandinavia. Taken with my Nikon D90 (kit lens), by the highway, from a moving car.
