While hiking the Camino in Spain, it never ceased to amaze me how quiet, empty, and still bustling towns could be in the early mornings. With the first sight of the breaking dawn's light, no sound could be heard but the morning street washers spraying away the previous night's chaos, readying the streets for a new day.
