    Pudukkottai region was ruled by Velir kings and they are the sub-bodies of Chola empire. Following their masters foot steps, these kings were also built several temples in Pudukkottai region. Nandhi (Vehicle of Lord Shiva) of one of such temple near Narthamalai was photographed here.
