An oak leaf, frozen in ice. The cold front swept in last night, freezing the water in the horse trough. It trapped a bunch of oak leaves in the ice. So this forced me to dump the trough to run more water. The ice and leaves came out in sheets which I laid over an old mineral block. Some of the nonsubmerged leaves have a fine sheen of ice which reflected the light and in this case outlined the leaf veins.
