Truly the last frontier and home to many of the country’s National Parks, I thought visiting the great State of Alaska would be a perfect way to honor the 100-year anniversary of the National Park Service. This image was made in a very remote Bear Camp on Chinitna Bay in Lake Clark National Park & Preserve, accessible only by a 45-minute flight in a small prop plane over the bay. The scenery was spectacular and the bears were abundant - It was an amazing experience.
