Walking along a windy ridge, I looked down and saw this pair of yellow eyed penguin that had just came ashore after a day of fishing. They were so into grooming each other and kissing and necking that they totally ignored me as I took several photos of them. This endangered species are local residents on the South Island of New Zealand
