This image was taken in mid winter, in Maitland, a small town on the east coast of Australia. I wanted to include a torch beam as an element in this photo as I liked the effect that it gave. I set my camera on a 10 second timer, and in that time period, had to run about 20 metres, climb up onto a fence post, shine my torch into the sky, and stand completely still for 30 seconds.
