I practiced taking photos of the moon days before the super moon that occurred last November. That night, I was so excited I could barely contain myself. I packed up my camera, my tripod, and my dog and headed out. When I got to the spot I chose, I realized it was cloudy and the moon couldn't be seen nearly as well as I had hoped. But I waited patiently, and this was my reward.
