Tablèt nwa (cashew bar)
While in Haiti I discovered the Tablèt nwa (cashew bar). It is simply caramelized cashews. When I first tried one, I was blown away by the extraordinary flavor it has. You could taste the mixture of cinnamon and spices put into it. I had to see it made for myself. So my good friend Jenel took me to his home, where his mother was making another batch. This is where I had the chance to witness the origins of the magically tasting Tablèt nwa (cashew bar).
