My cousin's kids never seem to explore the outdoors--except when they are with me. Just a few, short miles away from the best parks and nature preserves in the city--(and state!), these parts are infrequently visited by them. On this day, I picked them up and took them to a Texas state park to be among nature--what better way to spend their day off from school.
