The Mount Washington Sunrise drive. It happens 3 times a year during the summer only. I have been attempting to make this event for the past 3 years but something kept coming up which prevented me. Well this past Saturday my wife and I finally made it. We are heading up and get to the 5 mile mark which is about 4500 feet in elevation when the transmission in my wife's car decides it doesn't want to go any further. A bit scary but we ended up with this amazing sunrise from 3/4 of the way up.
