Changing Land
The dust rises up over this charging elephant. In this region, the vegetation is dwindling due to the influx of charcoal burning and illegal logging. As global crude oil prices continue to rise, kerosene and cooking gas have become expensive and unaffordable for the local people. For millions of African people who need heat, wood from trees remain the cheapest and easiest source of fuel. The forests are depleting and the elephants kingdom is turning to dust.
