Elephant Row
In the late afternoon, elephants lined up as if on parade. They pointed their trunks to smell the air and detect danger (Kiturua Conservancy, Kenya). It is the elephant’s keen sense of smell that keep them from death row. Finding water at ranges up to 19 kilometers away and foreign odors of danger is key to their survival.
