I love this photo because our guide had just told us all of the horrors rhinos have been experiencing and how they are poached relentlessly. This rhino is safe in a safari park but it was still so sad to know these animals are killed everyday for a silly horn. Being able to look a rhino in the eyes allows to respect them and see what unique and special creatures they are. This was taken in the San Diego safari park just as the sun was beginning to set and cast some nice shadows.
