This photo was taken on Dec. 31, 2016 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. We were celebrating the New Year 2017 and also the 150 th Anniversary of Confederation, Canada becoming a country. What a great way to spent time with dear friends. One of my cousins, Tara Francis and another lady, Katie Augustine, painted the designs on the tipi (teepee) as part of respect to the culture and history of the First Nation people of Canada.
