Mother and daughter re-united, after 2 years of separation while the daughter was held in captivity by Islamic State. Taken during a visit by The Jinda Organisation, who support Yazidi Girls when they return from slavery with Daesh, and help to reintegrate them into their communities. This photograph was taken two weeks after the return of the girl, on Monday 12th of January 2016. PP in LR & Colour FX Pro for crop & exposure. I was keen to photograph them leaving dignity intact.
